一個樞紐，來自世界各地的人往往復復，數據訊息流進流出。
沙洲上，一個老人，幾乎知道天下事……

數據訊息，從感官到感知，身體作為平台，資訊化成意義。
當資訊再難判別真偽，真實的接觸，是否就是全然的實相？
難辨的知識，還能造就智慧？

繼《true /本当のこと》後，日本導演藤本隆行 (蠢貨) 與編舞白井 剛 (発条卜) 聯同多位媒體程式、聲音、舞蹈藝術家及樂手，帶來了一個寓言式的新媒舞蹈演出。

Node, a traffic hub where people from around the world come and go.
The old man in the desert, our protagonist, almost knows everything of the world....

From data to information, from senses to cognitive, body becomes a platform in creating perception and meaning. In the time when it is hard to determine genuineness among information, can we depend on our senses in understanding the truth? Are there still true knowledge that can nurture wisdom?

Directed by Takayuki Fujimoto (Dumb Type) and choreographed by Tsuyoshi Shirai (AbsT) in collaboration with Butoh and contemporary dancers, a musician and a team of independent computer programmers; Node /The Old Man of the Desert is an allegorical performance of the body and digital technology, reflecting the unprecedented reality we are facing today.
